Day-to-day life it's not only about
cycling and giving you all a great experience.
We work with a number of organisations
which we support by
- promoting their work to you,
- having fundraising events now
and than and
- by donating bicycles to them
Wanne speed up this
process....... You donate € 50.-- and we hand over your bike to the organisation of your choice!
But if you want to support one of
these organisations in any other way we are sure
they are extremely grateful. Here you
find their contact and other details.
Thank you, Busi

Orlando Children's Home was rescued from closure in
1977 by the local Orlando East community.
Currently a group of paid volunteers take care of ca 60 children, ranging from a
few months old up to 18+. They do not only work on their daily needs but also
look towards the future of these vulnerable children. Within the premises they
offer practical training in vocations as hairdresser,
making
flower arrangements and furniture upholstery .
They also run a crèche where children of the home and the surrounding
community mingle and grow up together.

Sunshine association:
A day-care for disabled. Being disabled in a challenge........ especially if
your born in a country as South Africa. Traditional
prejudices,
sky high unemployment
and a failing health system make things only worse.
Respect for all those volunteers who work hard, day after day in enhancing the
quality of life for these children and spent and equal amount of time in
educating the parents, family and community members of the child. Any help is
welcome.

Othandweni is a major orphanage with almost 100 kids; forming part of the Johannesburg
Child Welfare Organisation. Within the organisation a lot of energy is spend in
projects that involve children. Shelter and rehabilitation of street children,
housing them in one of their facilities and trying to re-unite them with their
families.
